Receipt uploads are now faster for in-store payments. Tap a transaction notification to open the app and jump straight into the camera – so you can capture and upload your receipt in seconds. Once uploaded, you’ll land directly on the transaction details. Online payments continue to open the transaction view.

You can now create self-issued receipts directly in the app. Tap the 3 dots button on a card transaction or business expense, select Receipt unavailable, choose whether the receipt was lost or never received, add the required details, and submit. Moss automatically generates and attaches a compliant PDF, so your expense can be processed compliantly.

Mobile Approvals – New challenge actions
Approvers can now take all key actions directly on mobile. A new More options menu lets you Flag, Send back, or Forward a card transaction without switching to desktop. Cardholders are notified instantly when a transaction is sent back, helping teams resolve issues faster and keep approvals moving.

Approvers can now update expense details directly from the mobile approval view. Fields display according to company settings: read-only, editable, or mandatory. For invoices, mandatory fields must be completed before approval. This update extends Configurable Fields Support to mobile, giving approvers full visibility and control without switching to desktop.

We’ve improved how transactions move from Collect to Review or Approve, giving submitters more control. From now on, transactions no longer auto-progress just because required fields or receipts are present. Instead, submitters must explicitly trigger the transition—unless no inputs are required. This prevents unexpected changes and ensures all required information is truly complete before moving forward. Available for all orgs using Card transactions.
